Our Mission Field

Japan is the second largest unreached nation in the world, boasting a population of about 126 million people, of which less than 0.6% are Evangelical Christians!  We are part of a dynamic local church and team of missionaries working to build a church planting movement!  The Lord of the harvest says that the fields are ripe and ready for reaping.  We are to pray for laborers in the field.  (Matt 9:37-38)

Are you up for the challenge?

PAZ Japan was founded in 1989 and since then has been faithfully planting churches in the metropolitan Tokyo region.  Currently, three churches have been planted and are bearing fruit for the Kingdom of God. We are helping to plant a fourth church in 2023!  We believe that God is honoring the many years of sowing in Japan, preparing a great harvest for the future!

Why Japan?

At the end of his time on earth, Jesus gave the marching orders, go therefore and make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19).

Japan is a densely populated island nation that represents millions of lost souls.  The government is open to religious workers, making it easy to live there.  However, few missionaries are able to endure the difficult language and high cost of living.  Japan needs long-term missionaries and church planters!
